Post tiling site visit today

Today we had our post tiling site visit to check the tiles were installed correctly and just to have another look over everything.

We are very happy with the tiling, they look great. The Air-con has also been installed this week so that's great.

The supervisor said we are about 4 weeks from handover so will see how it goes. It is very exciting and cant wait for it to be finished and us move in.

Tiling started today

Got a call from the Site Supervisor today saying that tiling has started and should be finished by Tuesday and the fit-out (taps and stuff) will start again on Wednesday.

It is all moving ahead nicely, still no date on when we will be finished but still hoping the end of March at the latest.

Site visit today

We had a site visit today to check the colour of the paint, check the correct tiles had arrived and a walk through of the house.

The colours looked great, the light grey on the walls and the dark walls for the media room look great, we are really happy with the colours.

The stain on the front door, pillars and lin1 doors looks great also.

The kitchen, bathroom and en-suite caesarstone bench tops look better then expected and will fit in with everything great.

The en-suite shower is still missing the recess, but we brought it up with the SS and it should be fixed this week before tiling starts on Monday.

Painting started

The fit-out has finished and painting started today, tiling was meant to start but has been pushed back to next week as has our site visit, it is now next Tuesday morning.

Looking forward to getting into the house and have a look at it after the fit-out and painting. We are also meeting the window furnishing people onsite next Tuesday to do the measure and quote for shutters. Hopefully we will get an official end date next Tuesday.
